I hate the idea of my major defining me as a person. I am multi-dimensional, God damn it, and I don't want to have to choose. Every time I look at the list of schools and departments, I get depressed. All these stupid categories. Just fit yourself in one of them and do as we say and we'll give you a magic piece of paper that will give you food, health care, and a decent roof over your head.
Can I just have a tipi and some granola? How about I just follow Phish for a few years? Those people seem happy.
